Snorkeling is literally just that, swimming with the fishes. Lot’s of people do it when they are on the beach or near the sea. But the equipment that they use is has some drawbacks. It gets tiring to mouth breath all the time. And, depending on your jaw and teeth, you can get jaw cramps or water leakage. Divers have been using full face masks for many applications, and now that technology has been brought to snorkeling. Read our article on the improvement of snorkeling with full face masks. This might be a valuable investment, depending on how much time you spent in the water, and where you go on holiday. Take care.
We thought a little more about the subject from our last post. And we had to write something about the benefits of wearable and clothing tech. This is clearly an area that has expanded greatly over the last years and looks to increase even further. And it makes it even more apparent how closely we have become integrated with technology. It’s fascinating what has become possible, and even more what will become possible in the future.
Fitness trackers can evolve into full blown health monitors that alert us of diseases at the earliest possible moment. We can have clothing that heats us when we are cold and cools us when we are warm, without having to change at all. Or even clothing that changes color depending on where we are, so we can always match with our environment or friends.
It’s very cool to see where this is going, and we are going to be on top of it, reporting to you guys.
Hi there, welcome to Numa Tech industries. We are getting into the Christmas and new year spirit and couldn’t help to wonder: what is going on in the world right now. I know it’s a pretty “deep” question and we could just ignore it and keep our eye on feasting and drinking. But every once in a while it’s good to take a step back and ponder.
If we look at the world, we can see that there are lots of progress made in the field of technology. It seems that every new invention adds another layer that allows for other inventions to build upon it.
While all this is happening there are certainly signs that we sometimes also create new problems. Take a look at our five biggest signs that tech is affecting our lives in a bad way. It clearly shows that we can’t solve some of the pressing problems in the world, by just inventing new gadgets.
But we can’t be satisfied with just looking at the problems that new technology create. History has shown us time and time again that new inventions mean that our society and we have to change. And that is something that often leads to pain and friction. Which is rather odd if you look at it; Time and time again we have felt friction and resistance to changes that turned out to be good, yet we are still getting upset about the changes going on today? It’s pretty crazy actually. If we saw the main character in a movie do this, we would want to shout at them to act differently.
Ok, let’s get out of philosophy and move to a clearly happy and good influence of technology: new gadgets and toys for pets. Although this pertains mostly to cats and dogs and not to turtles or birds, they are probably not far behind. With modern pet toys, cameras and treat dispensers you can keep them company from your office, the train or anywhere you have wireless internet. And that is pretty cool. Now you don’t have to scan Facebook or Instagram for other peoples cute dog photos. Instead, you can take a look at how your own is doing, and play with him a bit. Check out our article on the best Pet Inventions for 2017.
Ok, that is is for our end of year message:). It’s more than clear that technology is affecting our lives. In some ways that is good right now, and in some ways it seems bad. We can’t just decide to go back to the stone age, and it wouldn’t make much sense. So we have to work with what we have. And that is a lot. Use technology to improve our lives, and remove the bad side effects. Find out if the bad side effects are really bad, or just different. And continue to build towards a perfect world. A world without any suffering or badness. At least that is what we are going to do; hopefully, you will join us.
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year
Whoomp, there it is:)
